Dr. Dana Stern grew up on Long Island. At an early age, she knew optometry was the career for her. She completed a joint-degree program through which she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Adelphi University in 1996, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 1999. Throughout her career, Dr. Stern has partnered with ophthalmology to provide full-scope primary eyecare. For over twenty years she has performed comprehensive eye exams including eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, diagnosis of eye disease, and treatment of common eye infections and injuries. Dr. Stern co-manages LASIK and cataract surgeries with top surgeons on Long Island.

Dr. Leah Shanfeld graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2000. Over the past two decades, she has worked in ophthalmology and optometry practices in New York and Pennsylvania. Dr. Shanfeld provides full-scope care, including prescribing all types of glasses and contact lenses, as well as surgical management and treatment of eye diseases. Dr. Shanfeld lives on Long Island with her husband and 3 children.
